Le Centre d'Études et d'Information sur la Diaspora Camerounaise (CEIDIC) est un projet qui a pour objectif d'accompagner l'engagement des camerounais(es) de l'étranger pour le développement du Cameroun. Cet accompagnement ce fait à travers la mise à disposition sur un site internet de toutes les informations relevantes sur et pour la diaspora camerounaise. En outre, l'assistance du CEIDIC se fait aussi à travers la recherche pour permettre un engagement basé sur le savoir et non le tâtonnement.
In the short term, it is about to build a homepage that will compile all relevant knowledge and information for and about the cameroonian Diaspora concerning the migration and development nexus. The integration of the diaspora members in their respective host societies should always be considered since an optimal development engagement is then only possible if migrants are well integrated.
In the long term, however, the project should mutate into a think tank that accompany the development commitment of the cameroonian diaspora and its policy-making. To this end, the project should mutate into a research or academic institution. In other words, we will be able to produce knowledge and information.
